Lady in Black

Even if spring is just around the corner and If I have spoken many times about bright colours and playful floral prints that are trending for the new season, today is about my favourites … meaning the dark shades. While the spring 2017 fashion trends recommend us to go for warmer tones, neutral and peaceful shades, it really is no mistake occasionally to opt for the eternal black or other dark shades. And especially when they lead in our dressers…

There are so many people who dress only in black, they built an partially black outfit or they choose at least one item in black most of the time… and it’s nothing wrong with it. As I said many times, most matter to be confident and to feel good and comfortable as we dress. If black makes you feel sexy and powerful, this you’ll transmit!

It’s true the leading clothes in my wardrobe are black, grey, brown, neutral shade and some of them more bright and coloured and even though sometimes I wake up all unicorns and rainbows and I’m really not in the mood to go with anything black but with normal colors for happiness, I’ve never thought to stop wearing it. Black never goes out of style that’s for sure, it’s a classic, it goes with everything, it’s flattering and makes us look slim.

So here are some outfits in dark shades that we can really wear during spring time looking good and stylish…

For a date night is nothing better than black. The masculine-feminine trend is big these days and choosing one suit that is slightly wider to provide that touch of masculinity, will lead to a sexy and powerful look while offers elegance and sensuality.

The first thing you’ll buy is definitely a suit!

The choker trend has been a hot topic and even though it says that in 2017 will be replaced yet at any store you’ll go to the accessories line, you will find it in all colours and thicknesses with or without applications. Now if you haven’t been a huge fan of it as an accessory you can opt to have it as detail to a dress for example.

Black and grey always showed pretty well together. It’s a good mix that I really like a lot and going for black on the bottom side and grey to the top gives a clean and nice look. Choosing a grey top with bell sleeves, which is a huge trend these days plus well tailored black pants and accessorised with grey or metallic items will result in nothing but a pretty stylish outfit.

NYFW street style inspired outfits are the best tips to learn from when it comes to fashion and styling items. It seems that black has kept its dominant place and combined with animal prints, bright coloured skirts or fur jackets in grey shades works well.

The beauty of all- black is by mixing textures together and note that it will be not boring but pretty badass. Furry pieces, leather or suede combined, can transform your head to toe black outfit into a chic and stylish one, so, you can easily give it a try.
